Federal Trade Commission gets the Playstation 2 porn site spammers

Spammers sending emails promising free Sony Playstation 2 games consoles to trick the recipients into going to adult websites then being put through a "dialer" to a 1-900 numbers with high call charges per minute have been cracked down upon by the FTC

The settlement between the FTC and the spammers bans Christopher Baith, Cosme Monarrez, Jr., and Sorabh Verma from "engaging in any future misrepresentative activities and from sending spam misrepresenting their identities or that of their e-mail's subjects" Christopher Baith was ordered to pay $10,000 by a federal court which agreed to let him pay $2,500, but if he is found to have misrepresented his financial position he will be forced to pay the rest

Company Makes Snowboards Featuring Porn Stars

After seeing a Jenna Jameson snowboard earlier this year, i was wondering if promoting porn stars and adult films on teen products would become a trend. Never the less i soon came across this article on Newsnet5.com

Apparently they are selling for over $1000 on Ebay at the moment, but we have seen them going for less than $200

Swiss government pulls the plug on automatic dialers

The swiss authorities are clamping down on internet sites, particularly erotic ones, which charge exorbitant rates to unsuspecting customers. The Federal Communications Office (Ofcom) is banning companies from automatically connecting web users at premium rates without their knowledge.

Seems like the swiss webmasters are going to have to find a new way to rake in the cash, as non automatic dialing is much more likely to convert poorly compared to what they were doing

Now we have all been exposed to the news about Janet Jackson's superbowl half time nipple flash, I think it is time we got priorities straight. Although no matter how much they try and say it was an accident, it just cannot be true. The pictures of Janet's nipple flash at halftime have been widely publicised around the net in the last week
